This week, some of the Lankelly Chase team and many of our partners will be upping sticks and heading to Oxford to take part in Marmalade – an informal and open access festival celebrating social change, hosted by our friends at Arts at the Old Fire Station.
The fun kicks off on Tuesday, where we will be joining colleagues from the Mayday Trust, Camerados and Arts at the Old Fire Station. Citizens from across Oxfordshire and beyond will be discussing how we can improve our relationships so that we and those around us can bounce back from tough times. You can read more about this event here: http://www.marmalade.io/events/bread-and-butter-services/
Then on Wednesday and Thursday we are joining Practical Governance and the Social Change Agency to spend two days Losing Control. This two day hack will explore the practical realities of movement building for social change. We’re really excited that three of our partners – Expert Link, Salford Dadz and Open Book – are joining this event, bringing real life challenges for attendees to resolve together. Both of these events are fully booked, so if you can’t join we and our partners will all be tweeting throughout the days. Follow @LankellyChase and the hashtags #mmlde17 and #systemschangers for more.
