About our work

De Butterfly CIC is founded in 2014 as a community and got registered in 2019 as CIC. We are one of the partner organisation of MAMA Health and Poverty Partnership. We provide cultural sensitive and appropriate individual/group face to face/ telephone/virtual counselling/ psychotherapy for BAME women, youth and family. We also facilitate Emotional Wellbeing Workshops and Seminars, Life coaching/ Mentoring, FGM Support Group( Trauma Based CBT), Physical health Wellbeing Workshop, Employability Mental Resilience and Mindfulness Classes.

The change we want to see

To see a well structured Voluntary sector system where culturally sensitive, appropriate specialist emotional support and help to the BME community is established to minimise negative consequence of health inequalities and deprivation. To influence a wider impact that will activate change and inequalities to mental health and well-being of BME women and youths. To keep Providing a safe space for BME women and youths for expression without bias or any form of barriers that can make them think less of themselves or deprived.
