What attracted you to working at Lankelly Chase? The opportunity to put everything I’ve learnt about social innovation into use and to drive solutions to some of our toughest social problems. I have spent the last seven years learning how to encourage, set up, grow and finance social organisations – from charities to social enterprises to campaign organisations to socially-driven businesses. But too often I felt frustrated that many of these ideas and organisations didn’t tackle the root cause of the social issue they aimed to address. They became another service, swallowed up by ineffective systems.
Lankelly Chase focuses on ideas that disrupt and reform whole systems. By encouraging social innovations in this field, we can create real change and tackle and prevent severe and multiple disadvantage.
