How would you describe yourself? – Passionate, obsessive, comfortable, off-beat and instinctive.
What I do:
I am a Support and Resettlement Practitioner working with serious offenders and those with multiple and complex needs – particularly in Mental Health. I find accommodation for those that cannot be housed, support those who have fallen through the cracks and help people rebuild their lives by working with them to achieve Social Inclusion in the fullest sense.
Something I would like to change in the system:
Anything that redresses what’s out of balance in our present ‘Systems’ – particularly in systems that exhibit a negative bias towards those in society who are disenfranchised and/or marginalised. This to be achieved by working collaboratively to develop solutions aimed at producing workable changes that will have a real impact on the widest possible reaches of society. Eventually I would like to become involved with the development of future Polices particularly in the Support Sector.
