What I do:
I work at Brighton Oasis Project – a women’s drug and alcohol service. We support women with multiple and complex needs to find a way to move away from the difficulties in their lives and move towards recovery. Although we are a substance misuse service, our clients’ lives are not only about the substances they use- they are whole people and we try to work holistically in all that we do.
Something I would like to change in the system:
I would like to change the way our team communicates with and supports each other so that we work better together. I hope this will enable us to deliver a more effective and cohesive service for our clients- the better we work together the better the outcomes for them.
