The MCN Network and local Enabling Team are working together to support an inquiry into the systems that perpetuate extreme disadvantage and marginalisation in York.
What’s happening
Working groups have been established to take forward experimental action in priority areas such as joint commissioning for change, cultural values and creative action.
There are a range of activities interconnected with the network:
- A new devolved participatory local fund hosted by Two Ridings Community Foundation. This is being co-developed locally and will support new ideas connected with the local inquiry.
- Skills and capacities are being developed through the York System Changers programme.
- A lived experience network is hosted by the Good Organisation
- A systemic inquiry with children and young people is being supported by the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University and hosted by Two Ridings.
